CAIR is the Council on American-Islamic Relations.  One would therefore think that they are concerned with explaining to Americans how it is that so many Muslims have interpreted a "Religion of Peace" to mean exactly the opposite, but in fact this organization is dedicated to fueling the Islamic world's resentment of America by deliberately ignoring the violence and focusing on trivial matters in the U.S.  They are doing more to justify terrorism and reinforce stereotypes on both sides of the divide than they may realize.

Although CAIR is having difficulty shaking the accusations that it is a supporter of Islamic terror (not helped by their refusal to condemn all forms of terrorism or even denounce Osama Bin Laden), we still hope to inspire them, and others, to focus on the log in Islam's own eye before complaining about the speck in others.  Properly addressing the violence, so that it can be eradicated, will do more to heal relations between Muslims and the rest of the world than a lifetime of petty complaining.

Nearly two-hundred children are taken hostage and slaughtered by Mujahideen, along with two-hundred other parents and teachers at a school.

A Prominent Islamic Terrorist is Killed

This man's 377 dead victims. (No acknowledgement from CAIR).

Muslim-Americans feel uncomfortable and "under suspicion."

A Muslim-American soldier rolls grenades into two tents, killing two Americans and injuring a dozen more.  (No acknowledgement from CAIR).

An American with the last name of "Muhammad" is asked for his country of birth.

A Muslim with the last name of "Muhammad" goes on a sniper shooting spree in American parking lots, killing more than a dozen people. (No acknowledgement from CAIR).

American disputes ex-wife's conversion to Islam and tries to prevent her from moving children to Egypt.

Three girls are killed and fourteen others injured when Muslim radicals throw a grenade into a Christian church during a Christmas service.  (No acknowledgement from CAIR).

Muslim passenger "profiled" on a bus in Pennsylvania.

Muslim bombers blow up a bus, killing eleven high school students and injuring more than fifty.  (No acknowledgement from CAIR).

A church sign in Florida misquotes the Qur'an.

Churches in Nigeria are burned to the ground and Muslims kill more than 105 Christians in the rampage.  (No acknowledgement from CAIR).

From  9/11/01 to 7/21/05 there have been more than:2647 major Islamic terrorist attacks involving loss of life as noted on the following site.  By our count, the number of attacks that CAIR has acknowledged and condemned is 7.  I point this out because our public officials rely on CAIR for their moderate Muslim stance.
