Mr. Livingstone, I Presume

Britain is finally getting serious about its suicidal multiculturalism. Home Secretary Charles Clarke will deport several Muslim clerics who practice hate-speech. As someone who thinks America's first amendment is over-rated and valorized to the point of a fetish by liberals who would gladly gut the Constitution of its second amendment, I see no controversy in Britain, perhaps the most politically civilized nation in history, deporting those who are a real threat to that nation's safety.

Lest we forget the idiots who speak for terrorism, here is the fearless mayor of London, Ken Livingstone who . . .

. . . told BBC Radio 4's Today programme that his support for today's measures would depend on whether it passed what he called "the Mandela test".

"If this law had been in place 20 years ago in Britain, would the supporters of Nelson Mandela have been thrown out of this country because they were supporting the bombing campaign against the apartheid racist regime in South Africa?"

First of all there is no "Mandela test." If we compare the desires of Islamist activists to those of the African National Congress under apartheid we would clearly see that one is devoted to fascism under the Islamic religion and the other devoted to freeing itself from fascism under white supremacy. There is no moral proportion in Livingstone's statement - so typical of the fifth-column Left.

More to the point, where does Livingstone's assumption point to? You guessed it. The Palestinians and the Israelis. The Jews once again are the magic catalyst for justifying any kind of fascism and calling it free speech and moral conscience.

"There will be very few Muslim scholars or leaders that will ever be admitted to Britain because the vast majority of Muslims identify with the struggle of the Palestinian people," he said.

Who says supporting the Palestinians means being a hate-monger? Livingstone makes no distinction, which precisely proves the point that he is in league with the extremists. Any hate speech is o.k. as long as it supports the Palestinian cause (and what exactly is that cause, Mr. Livingstone?) and, of course, as long as the false and slanderous comparison between Israel and apartheid South Africa remains unquestioned.

Clarke is a sign of health for Britain while Livingstone looks backward.
