1:29 PM: Saddam's sons killed today? This news just crossed the wires:

U.S. officials said they are "reasonably confident" that Saddam Hussein's two sons have been killed in what they characterize as an "intense firefight" Tuesday with American troops.

Uday and Qusay -- key members of Saddam's regime -- are thought to be among four people killed during a dramatic four-hour battle in Mosul, northern Iraq.

While there has been no official confirmation of the deaths one U.S. official told CNN: "We are reasonably certain they could have met their maker."

Finally, some good news out of Iraq? Losing American kids is horrible, but I'd say we've had good news for awhile, namely the liberation of Iraq from the evil tyranny of Saddam Hussein. Our kids have not died in vain. Let's hope we get Saddam soon... and Osama. More coming...

1:43 PM: CNN reports, "BREAKING NEWS: Top part of Eiffel Tower on fire, according to wire services. CNN working to confirm. Details to come." Please check CNN.com for details.
