Last week, someone in Canada phoned in a threat to shoot down an Israeli airliner using a surface-to-air missile. How do you think the Canadian government reacted? Did they issue a strong statement condemning terrorism? Did they swear to defend Israel's airline, El Al, to fly safely in and out of Canada? No and no.

According to the CBC:

Transport Minister David Collenette says Canada will assess the future of El Al flights to Toronto following the security threat.

That's right, punish the terrorized and reward the terrorists. What a mighty message from the fearless Canadian government. Canada's message to the terrorists is this: "State your demands and we will meet them."
