Democratic Party Sinks to New Lows

This morning, Al Gore endorsed Howard Dean's candidacy for the Democratic Party's 2004 presidential nomination. I once thought Gore was a mainstream Democrat. Not any more. This is more proof that the extreme left has captured the Democratic Party. Or, to put it in another light, the Democratic Party leadership has decided to abandon the majority of Americans in the hopes of winning the support of the extreme left. Don't think Dean is extreme? A while back, I wrote an article entitled, "Howard Dean: Enemy of Israel." I didn't write this article off the cuff, or in humorous spirit. I wrote it because Dean said: There is a war going on in the Middle East, and members of Hamas are soldiers in that war, and, therefore, it seems to me that they are going to be casualties if they are going to make war. So the Democratic Party is on its way to naming an apologist for terrorism as their 2004 presidential candidate? Am I awake, or is this just a bad dream? And what do the other Democratic candidates offer us? Absolutely nothing. Wesley Clark wants to form a joint Saudi-US commando force that will search the Afghan Pakistani border. What planet does Clark live on? The Saudis would never agree to do this. They fear the reaction of the Muslim world and their own citizens. Fight side-by-side with the Great Satan? Never. Ideas like this are probably why Clark got fired as NATO Supreme Allied Commander. That and the fact that he made so many enemies as a military "leader." What about Dennis Kucinich? He happily meets with terrorism supporters like CAIR. Need I say more? Joe Lieberman would raise taxes on anyone making over $150,000 a year. A lot of Americans make more than $150,000/year. Should we punish them for working hard? Bush's tax cuts have revived the U.S. economy. Why undo something good? John Kerry, Howard Dean, and Dick Gephardt all would repeal the Bush tax cuts in one way or another. And the Democratic liliputians are all really angry at Bush. Talking about the Iraq war to Rolling Stone magazine, Kerry said: Did I expect George Bush to fuck it up as badly as he did? I don't think anybody did. Nothing like constructive criticism. Gephardt called the Bush administration an "abomination." Clark says Bush's Iraq policy is a "national tragedy" that will "be looked at as a disastrous turn of events in U.S. history." Anger, bad foreign policy, and bad economic policy. That's what the Democrats offer. Don't get me wrong. I'm not behind Bush 100% -- especially on his environmental record and his Medicare handout to the big drug companies. But we're in World War III against the Islamists. We're fighting for the survival of Western civilization. Bush had the courage to strike at the heart of the Middle East's dictatorships. I believe he has the courage to stay the course. The environment won't matter much if the Islamists win. I'm voting for Bush in 2004. |
