Daniel Pipes’ essay on “Stupid Terrorists” could not have been timed better. Yesterday, the BBC reported that a crazed Palestinian woman attacked a group of Israeli soldiers with a knife:

The Israeli army said the woman was knocked to the ground after lunging at a soldier with a knife, and was shot dead when she tried to get up again and attack a second time.

Smart, eh? Attack a group of the best soldiers in the world with a knife. The BBC article shows a picture of Israeli soldiers and medics trying to save the terrorist.

Of course, the appeasers will rush to attribute the terrorist’s actions to “desperation.” They will not mention that an Israeli would be immediately lynched in a similar situation under the auspices of the “Palestinian Authority.”

But this is the difference between a civilized society (Israel) and terrorist chaos (Palestine).
