The radical Left continues to remain silent over al-Qaeda’s campaign of genocide against Iraqi civilians:
At least 30 people were killed and 27 wounded when a car bomb exploded outside a hospital in a town south of Baghdad, officials say.
The selective perception of the Left galls me to no end. Al-Qaeda is waging a campaign of ethnic/religious cleansing in Iraq, but there is not even a whimper from the “progressives.” 26,000 Iraqi civilians have been murdered by terrorists, but this slaughter continues to be legitimized as an “insurgency.”
FDR, considered one of the greatest Democrats, saw the Axis for what it was, despite popular reluctance to admit its threat to democracy. He successfully guided the U.S. to save the free world, but why is his legacy now ignored? It is fear of terrorism that motivates the “opposition.” But FDR eloquently pointed out that “the only thing to fear is fear itself.”

I am continually amazed by the complete and total lack of concern that progressives show towards Iraqis. They would rather make up lies about the inception of the war and argue their fictitious talking points than help people from dying. They are always the ones saying America doesn’t give a damn, doesn’t help out in the world, just looks out for #1, etc but refuse to get on board with the most obvious situations in which peoples’ rights are being abused.
Somehow, because George W Bush started the Iraq war (although the reasons were there well before Bush took office), they won’t participate because it would validate Bush and they’d rather people die than affirm the president of the US.

The “progressives” are very afraid of terrorism. They actually believe that if we hide under our beds from the Islamists, we’ll be left alone. Hmmm… Many wanted to stay out of WWII — then Pearl Harbor. We thought we were safe in the roaring 90’s — then 9/11. The lessons of history ignored…
