In the good old days under Yasser Arafat, arresting Palestinian terrorists meant a photo op as detainees were led into a jail’s front door. A little bit later, the terrorists would be let out the back door, when the cameras were not rolling. Is this what the Palestinian Authority will do today? From the BBC:
Separately, the Palestinian Authority is reported to have arrested four Islamic Jihad members in Nablus.
Correspondents say the Authority has previously been reluctant to confront the powerful militant groups in its territory for fear of sparking civil conflict.
Hmmm… Why should I give these actions by the PA any credence, when:
Several Palestinian militants who either fled or were expelled by Israel have returned to Gaza via the recently re-opened Rafah border crossing. …
Palestinian officials insist that anyone with a Palestinian identity card can enter Gaza from Rafah.
This is a farce, but one that will lead to dead Israelis…
