Muslim law states that no illustrations of the prophet Mohammed may be made as it may become objects of worship. (or something like that) The essence of that rule I truly understand, but I ask any muslim to come forward and honestly say that he/she has been tempted to worship the images portrayed in the contovertial cartoons.
What muslim extremists are achieving is a reverse form of worship, whereas the riots and controversies they have created have actually placed more emphasis on the cartoons and sparked more interest in Islam and the supressed and narrow lives they suffer due to Islam. Islamic extremists are trying to impose a rule by fear, as they are ruled by fear…fear of all forms of freedom that the west embraces. There is no more a dispicable form of respect, as that based on fear.
I have to ask myself, what are they trying to achieve? Do muslims really think that by protests, burning and violence that counties in Europe and the west will bow to their objections and curb freedom of expression? Are they so blind to the fact that they are making a laughing stock of themselves and all of Islam through their actions? It is obvious the followers of Mohammed have bombing and death on their brains, just notice the continued call to jihad. The truth of this, clearly illustrated in the cartoons, is obviously something that muslims either cannot fathom or are too unwilling to recognize within Isalm, indicative of a flawed religion and subsequently, a flawed culture.
Islam is quick to cry “God is one” and then plant the knife in the back of a priest. We must ask then, if God is one, what is He one with? Is this satement implying that the christian God and the god of Islam, Allah, is one? This can obviuosly not be, because the christian God is a God of love, who gave his son out of love as a ransom for the sins of man. I can only summise that Muslim extremists have excluded God (Allah) and are worshipping and following Mohammed. If protests, death and jihad is the way of Mohammed then these cartoons have surely done him justice.
I take my hat off to the French. Publish the cartoons and draw some more. Freedom of expression must reign if we are to keep ourselves in check.

I belive anyone is making fun of other religion or other people have no self esteem. why cant everyone live their own life and live and let others live happy than hurting other peoples feeling. I think people who publish these cartoon are selfish, have no respect to fellow human and having no charector of their own. inorder for them to get their names publish in anywhere they need to pull these kind of cheap stunts.
