Ottawa, Canada, Monday, 31 July, 2006 - Alastair Gordon, President of the Canadian Coalition for Democracies (CCD), will testify before the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Canada’s response to the conflict in the Middle East. He will be joined by Francois Hachem, CCD’s Director of Lebanese Affairs, who will also be available to answer questions relating to the reaction of the Canadian Lebanese community to events in the Middle East.
