A headline on the BBC today: “Nasrallah sorry for scale of war.” Do readers really believe this stuff? If Nasrallah had any interest whatsoever in protecting Lebanese lives, he would have turned over the captured Israeli soldiers on the first day of the conflict. Shooting badly-aimed missiles at Israeli civilian targets did nothing to protect Lebanon or even Hezbollah fighters. Yet Nasrallah gets front-page treatment for lying:
“We did not think that there was a 1% chance that the kidnapping would lead to a war of this scale and magnitude,” Sheikh Nasrallah said.
“Now you ask me if this was 11 July and there was a 1% chance that the kidnapping would lead to a war like the one that has taken place, would you go ahead with the kidnapping?
“I would say no, definitely not, for humanitarian, moral, social, security, military and political reasons.
“Neither I, Hezbollah, prisoners in Israeli jails and nor the families of the prisoners would accept it.”

Glad to see you’re on top of this latest Muslim propaganda.
Nasrallah is backpedaling. He’s trying to rewrite history. The MSM will obviously help him pull it off, but WMD is on top of their game and nailed it…again.
You guys are great. Keep up the outstanding work.

Some gall this guy has… but I wouldn’t give him the credit of saying he has balls. He just orders homicide bombings, but has too much paperwork to actually get out there and do the dirty deeds done dirt cheap — yes, I’m quoting ACDC.
He did manage to capture the Al-JaZERO attention — and plenty of Western face time.
I gotta wonder if he is just preaching to the choir, or is really back-peddling because of internal Lebanese pressures. Remember that the anti-Hezbollah protestors drowned out the pro-Syrian robots in the Cedar Revolution.
No matter what spin you put on it, Hezbollah brought on the Israeli campaign, not Israel. Everyone’s gotta know this — at least somewhere buried in their psyches. Even the BBC admits Nasrallah started this in every article they post about the conflict.
I was at the local Lebanese festival this afternoon. It is run by Maronites, but still draws a good Muslim crowd — even burkhas watching belly-dancing?!?! The people I spoke to practically spit on the ground when I mentioned Hemorrhoidsballah.
