From the same folks who brought us “Jew Lieberman” and “media-owning Jewish pigs”
by Bill Levinson
Although MoveOn.org’s Action Forum was dedicated primarily to the posting of anti-Semitic slurs, like those quoted previously, and wacky 9/11 conspiracy theories that would play well on the Jeff Rense Show, there was plenty of time for the participants to slip in a few racist slurs as well. This is probably the first time we have seen a purported leftist in the electronic equivalent of a sheet and hood, but here it is for your Sunday entertainment.
We said both here and at the Action Forum (where our remark was promptly deleted) that a lady or gentleman turns her or his back when the N word is spoken. In this case, a MoveOn.org participant called Black soldiers potential mutineers who cannot be trusted with weapons. Ten out of thirteen MoveOn.org Action Forum participants gave their approval to this statement that may as well have referred to African-American soldiers as the N word.

Bring Black Troops home/send bush’s daughters
To serve in the US to protect the homeland and our human rights, being violated by the Bush Regime. I recently spoke to an African American Marine Officer, who was disturbed about how Black Marines are being treated prior and during Bush’s illegal occupation of Irag. He related to me that if it wasn’t for the low ranking Black Marines who were being discriminated against, and he felt they needed his help, he himself would resign. For this and other reasons Blacks serving in the armed services should not become solders of fortune, but instead should be assigned to protect the human rights of African Americans, and all people regardless of color or faith. This country should also realize why Blacks are not obligated to shed blood for this country. They will not be able to share in the spoils and benefits if any are derived from this invasion, and others. They nor their love ones in their life time will receive equal opportunities in this country. For Blacks to receive the discipline basically the military have to offer, and minorities are so much in need, I would suggest that they recruit Blacks, keep them in safe positions state side and not allow them a weapon, because they may use it against those they perceive to be their enemy.
10 out of 13 Action Forum participants agree with this statement

We do not like to have our own words taken out of context and, had he stopped with “For Blacks to receive the discipline basically the military have to offer, and minorities are so much in need,” we might have interpreted him as meaning that the Armed Forces offer youths from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to learn self-discipline that will serve them well throughout life. When he adds, “and not allow them a weapon, because they may use it against those they perceive to be their enemy,” it is however eminently clear where he is coming from. He is saying that even Blacks who have become self-disciplined soldiers are not to be trusted with firearms because they are all potential mutineers.

Right: minorities are “so much in need” of discipline and they cannot be trusted with weapons because they might mutiny. There was in fact a time that our Armed Forces were unfortunately segregated and, although Black soldiers often bore arms in defense of our country, they were often relegated to less-desirable jobs. It seems that this so-called “progressive” would take us back to those days, the same era in which MoveOn-endorsed candidate Robert Byrd (KKK-WV) said he would refuse to serve in the Armed Forces “with a Negro by [his] side.”
We doubt, by the way, that a Marine officer of any color (and they see only one, the color of the Marine uniform) would have given this individual the time of day let alone the statement described above.
This also was posted, apparently by the same individual, at outbush2005.blogspot.com. There you will find statements to the effect that most African-Americans are Muslim by birth and therefore should not serve in the Armed Forces to fight Muslims. The blog also contains numerous anti-Semitic slurs that the owner posted to MoveOn.org’s Action Forum, where they gained the equivalent of thunderous applause from the other participants.
We agree that MoveOn.org cannot be held responsible for this individual’s posting of the remark. As they were moderating the forum and removing material critical of MoveOn.org, however, they could have removed this racist slur had they chosen to do so. Furthermore, ten out of thirteen Action Forum participants voted agreement. All that was missing was an animation of a burning cross.
