National Jewish Democratic Council, MoveOn.org’s Judas Goat

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

A Judas goat is a trained and often well-fed animal that plays on its identity as, for example, a goat, sheep, or steer to get similar animals to follow it up the ramp to the meat packing factory. The National Jewish Democratic Council is similarly using its “Jewish” identity to knowingly and willfully whitewash MoveOn.org’s tolerance of hate speech at its Action Forum.

John Kerry’s Bigotry

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

By Andrew L. Jaffee

John Kerry, already well-known for being a Frankenstein Monster, a mass of contradictions, and suffering from chronic hoof and mouth disease, has struck again. This time, he’s stated that people who serve in the U.S. military are dummies at the bottom of American society (see also here):

“You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

Note that in the Chicago Tribune link, you can actually watch Kerry’s remarks, his smug condescension and smirk — and note the crowd’s muted response (appalled?). This is disgusting and offensive. And yet Kerry won’t admit it. An apology is in order to members of our armed forces (e.g., Colin Powell).

MoveOn.org’s “Jew Lieberman” now “N***er Lieberman” at Huffington Post

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

by Bill Levinson

“Joe Lieberman” from Jane Hamsher’s On the Ground with Lamont/Lieberman:

MoveOn.org and the Huffington Post seem to be competing with the Ku Klux Klan for members. African-American skin was used as an insult at the Huffington Post until numerous complaints resulted in the picture’s removal.

Decision Time on Iran

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

by Daniel Pipes*

As the Iranian government announced last week a doubling of its uranium enrichment program, the United Nations Security Council bickered over a feeble European draft resolution. It would do no more than prohibit Iranian students from studying nuclear physics abroad, deny visas for Iranians working in the nuclear area, and end foreign assistance for Iran’s nuclear program, oh, except from Russia.

MoveOn.org defenders: how would you like your CROW?

Monday, October 30th, 2006

by Bill Levinson

To the Anti-Defamation League’s Abraham Foxman, The Nation’s Eric Alterman, Ira Forman of the National Jewish Democratic Council, and Mik Moore at the Jewish Funds for Justice: You and your organizations have not only swallowed whole but supported publicly MoveOn.org’s press release of September 2, but CROW will be your principal meal for the next couple of weeks as shown below.

Terror Down South: India Battles Terrorist Threats Beyond J & K

Monday, October 30th, 2006

By Animesh Roul*

At least two events have been haunting India’s security establishment at present: an email threat to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh ahead of his visit to southern most State of Kerala scheduled on October 31, and the arrest of two suspected Pakistani nationals with alleged link to Al Badr terror outfit in the neighboring Mysore (in Karnataka).

Musharraf Gets Serious

Monday, October 30th, 2006

By Andrew L. Jaffee

I have wondered openly about Pakistani President Musharraf’s claim to be the West’s “main ally” in the war against Islamo-fascism, but today’s airstrike by helicopter gunships against terrorists in the Bajaur tribal area near Afghanistan shows that Pervez just might be serious about cleaning his nation up. From the BBC:

At least 80 militants have been killed in an air strike by Pakistani forces on a madrassa (religious school) used as a militant training camp, the army says. …

The leader of the madrassa, radical cleric Maulana Liaqat Ullah Hussain, was among the dead.

MoveOn.org Action Forum Documentary

Sunday, October 29th, 2006

by Bill Levinson

MoveOn.org’s Action Forum has apparently put together a famous documentary on the Jewish Question, as shown below. (Note: the cited MoveOn.org Action Forum links do not work because MoveOn.org had to take down the forum as a result of the scandal over racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-Catholic hate speech.) Every single one of the following items is a verbatim quote from the Action Forum, and pay close attention to just how many other Action Forum participants agreed with the hate speech.

Italy’s Transgender Toilet Crisis Rocks the World

Sunday, October 29th, 2006

By Andrew L. Jaffee

Stop the presses! Italian members of parliament (MPs) have called for the creation of “transgender” toilets in their government office building(s)! MP Elisabetta Gardini, a “former showgirl,” got upset when she ran in another MP, the transgender Vladimir Luxuria, in the bathroom. LOL. What’s the world coming to? From the BBC:

MoveOn.org, let’s clear the air!

Saturday, October 28th, 2006

by Bill Levinson

The following E-mail (minus the first Shakespeare quote) has been sent to info “at” moveon.org to challenge Eli Pariser to publicly debate, in front of as many cameras and microphones as possible, or in a newspaper’s point/counterpoint format, our allegations that his organization knowingly and willfully allowed its Action Forum to be used as a platform for racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-Catholic hate speech as well as 9/11 denial. This challenge was prompted by the Jewish Fund for Justice’s attempt to whitewash MoveOn.org. Whether this was at MoveOn’s request or on its own initiative is irrelevant; it is time for MoveOn.org to stop hiding behind its allies and enablers, step forward, and take responsibility for its actions.

Book Review of Rebbetzen Esther Jungreis’ LIFE IS A TEST – How To Meet Life’s Challenges Successfully
by Fern Sidman

Prozac, Zoloft, Wellbutrin, move over. Your days are numbered. The pharmaceutical industry will lose billions in revenue after readers get their hands on this book. Simply put, Rebbetzen Esther Jungreis’ new book, “Life Is a Test – How To Meet Life’s Challenges Successfully,” (Mesorah Publications) is the spiritual equivalent to the myriad of anti-depressants on the market. There is no question that Rebbetzen Jungreis has her finger on the pulse of the people. I would surmise that from her vast experience counseling those facing a multitude of challenges that life presents, she decided to write this book as an answer to a collective cry for help from a lost generation, totally unequipped to understand the true meaning behind life’s trials and tests. Fear not reader, for it is Rebbetzen Jungreis to the rescue. Your soul is about to get the ultimate work out, so get ready to stretch your spiritual muscles and become reinvigorated as you read “Life Is A Test”.

Final nail in MoveOn.org’s coffin

According to the Action Forum’s FAQ, MoveOn’s staff read every piece of hate speech twice
by Bill Levinson

Once this news spreads across the Internet, we can expect to see the visible collapse of MoveOn.org and also the National Jewish Democratic Council and the Jewish Funds for Justice if they do not promptly repudiate this organization and distance themselves from it as rapidly as possible. To recap, MoveOn.org’s defense against allegations that it knowingly and willfully allowed its Action Forum to be used as a platform for hate speech rests entirely on its claims that it didn’t see the hate speech until August. According to MoveOn.org itself, though, its staff read every piece of hate speech not once but twice.

Reply to NJDC’s defense of MoveOn.org

Friday, October 27th, 2006

Posted by permission. Emphasis added to certain key items.

Ira Forman’s (Executive Director, National Jewish Democratic council) letter of October 24, 2006 is incorrect. The events that he describes are not the events that happened. I was there, I lived them. Mr. Forman did not.

I am the person who brought the anti-Semitism of MoveOn.Org and its forum to the attention of numerous people including bloggers and editorialists. Here are the facts:

IHT: Nuclear holocaust: A risk too big even for martyrs?

Friday, October 27th, 2006

By Andrew L. Jaffee

The International Herald Tribune has an interesting read on Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons, and how the Islamic Republic’s atomic ambitions affect other Muslims in the region. The Trib uses the usual rhetoric, stating, “‘Israel will not be the first country in the region to use nuclear weapons,’ went the Israelis’ coy formula. ‘Nor will it be the second.’” This sentiment overlooks the fact that Israel’s nukes are controlled by a democratic electorate — not by megalomaniac dictators like “The Mystical Menace of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.” But the article is worth reading, especially if you pick out the insights into why (Arab/Muslim) regional powers are “rattled by the prospect of a nuclear Iran;” how Muslims are slaughtering Muslims, perhaps with nuclear weapons in a few years; and why a shift of power towards Shiite Islam scares the heck of out Sunnis. Here’s a snippet:

Today the nuclear game in the region has changed. When the Arab League’s secretary general, Amr Moussa, called for “a Middle East free of nuclear weapons” this past May, it wasn’t Israel that prompted his remarks. He was worried about Iran, whose self-declared ambition to become a nuclear power has been steadily approaching realization. …

Blog Against MoveOn.org; Back the Attack!

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

by Bill Levinson

Anyone who wants to help kick MoveOn.org’s backside this election can help by blogging about how MoveOn.org knowingly and willfully welcomed anti-Semitic, racist, and anti-Catholic hate speech at its Action Forum until the widening scandal forced the scandal to shut down on September 24. Please circulate this information as widely as possible, especially in states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Connecticut where MoveOn.org is backing candidates. Here is a list of MoveOn.org candidates:
