It is far from surprising that the National Jewish Democratic Council has not responded to our E-mail asking it to condemn the appearance of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Chris Dodd, Joe Biden, and Bill Richardson at Al Sharpton’s anti-Semitic and racist hate organization, the National Action Network. The NJDC has painted itself into a corner or, to use another expression, “it has us exactly where we want them.” This article will show why the NJDC has rendered itself worse than irrelevent to the 2008 elections; it has actually become a Republican asset.

The National Jewish Democratic Council has been as diligent and creative as any medieval Inquisitor or witch-hunter at finding reasons to condemn Republican candidates as racists and/or anti-Semites. By doing so, however, it has set standards by which Democratic candidates can even more easily be denounced as racists and anti-Semites. Not only that, as the standards were set by a Democratic organization, the Democrats in question are being judged not by our standards but by their own.

As an example, NJDC spokesman Steve Rabin posted a blog entry that accused John McCain of using a “racial slur” because he used the phrase “tar baby.” If Rabin knew anything about Uncle Remus’ folk tales (or didn’t knowingly and willfully choose to ignore what he knew of them just so he could slime a Navy aviator whose shoes he is not fit to kiss), he would realize that the Tar Baby is not black because it is a Negro, it is black because it is–well, made of TAR. Brer Fox, the archetypical Trickster of many folk tales, makes a figure out of this sticky substance to trap his enemy Brer Rabbit. Brer Rabbit takes offense when the inanimate Tar Baby doesn’t answer his greeting, so he punches it and gets stuck. When the Tar Baby won’t release him, he hits it again and gets stuck even deeper in the mess.

In any event, by grasping at this straw to call McCain a racist, while condemning Mitt Romney for speaking at the Henry Ford Museum, the National Jewish Democratic Council has gotten itself stuck to the so-called Reverend Al Sharpton. While Brer Rabbit’s nemesis was made of tar, Sharpton is best described as what one would get by mixing the most offensive imaginable kinds of garbage (stinking to high heaven of racist, anti-Semitic, and other forms of hate speech) with flypaper, Superglue, and whatever sticky material lines certain mouse traps. Washington, DC - The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) expressed its deep concerns today about Republican Mitt Romney’s decision to announce his candidacy for President from the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, Michigan….

“NJDC is deeply troubled by Governor Romney’s choice of locations to announce his Presidential campaign. Romney has been traveling the country talking about inclusiveness and understanding of people from all walks of life. Yet he chooses to kick his presidential campaign on the former estate of a well-known and outspoken anti-Semite and xenophobe. Mitt Romney’s embrace of Henry Ford and association of Ford’s legacy with his presidential campaign raises serious questions about either the sincerity of Romney’s words or his understanding of basic American history,” said NJDC Executive Director Ira Forman.

Perhaps Ira Forman thought he could get in a cheap shot at Romney by criticizing him for making a speech at the museum of a long dead EX-antisemite (noting that Ford retracted, repudiated, and apologized for The International Jew). Like a chess player who cannot think even one move ahead, though, he destroyed his own organization’s credibility while setting the stage for an unprecedented electoral disaster next year. If speaking at the museum of a long-dead EX-antisemite makes a person unfit to be President, which is where Ira Forman has set the bar, then it is pretty clear that Barack Obama is not fit to hold any position of responsibility or public trust whatsoever:

The prominent racist and anti-Semite with whom Barack Obama is having such a blissful time is, unlike Henry Ford, living, breathing, and unrepentent. Unlike Ford (and Mel Gibson and Don Imus), Al Sharpton has never apologized, nor has he ever tried to make matters right with the people he harmed in Wappingers Falls NY (Tawana Brawley scandal), Crown Heights (murder of Yankel Rosenbaum by a Sharptonite mob yelling “Kill the Jew!”), or Harlem (arson of Freddy’s Fashion Mart, which killed seven people including a Black security guard whom Sharpton’s National Action Network called a “cracker lover.”)

Al Sharpton is also the last person in the world to be talking about Don Imus’ use of “ho,” noting that his racist hate group called the Central Park rape victim, a white woman who was also beaten to a pulp by her attackers, a “whore.” Sharpton personally called Mayor David Dinkins a “nigger whore turning tricks in City Hall,” which seems downright ungrateful in light of Dinkins’ police force allowing Sharpton’s gang to reenact the Night of the Broken Glass in Crown Heights. To these delightful expressions of tolerance for people of other races and ethnicities (and even those of his own), Sharpton has added, ““White folks was in caves while we was building empires … We taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it.”

If we were to take the above photograph and invert the colors, we would have a Caucasian candidate standing arm in arm with the Aryan Nations’ and White Aryan Resistance’s Tom Metzger. Tom Metzger’s hate organization was found civilly liable for inciting the racist murder of an Ethiopian immigrant. Sharpton’s National Action Network, the same group that Obama, Clinton, and the other candidates visited, was indirectly responsible for at least seven: the people who died when one of Sharpton’s followers set Freddy’s Fashion Mart on fire. If the National Action Network was the group that reenacted the Night of the Broken Glass in Crown Heights while yelling “Kill the Jew,” the body count rises to eight by adding Yankel Rosenbaum. Sharpton personally used the term “diamond merchants” to refer to Crown Heights’ Jewish population.

It is now easy to see how the Republicans OWN the National Jewish Democratic Council. The six Democrats who attended the National Action Network can be rightfully denounced as racists and anti-Semites–not by Republican standards but by NJDC standards. Hillary Clinton reputedly called a campaign worker a “f***ing Jew bastard” and, given her patronage of Sharpton’s anti-Semitic and racist hate group, this story becomes far more believable. Stories about Barack Obama attending a madrassa (maybe they don’t like Jews there either) and associating with a Black separatist minister (i.e. the kind that hates “crackers,” to use National Action Network terminology) also become far more believable.

The statement “Judge not, lest ye be judged” is well illustrated by this passage from King Henry V. Henry V, the “Star of England,” is among our favorite role models, and we can easily apply this to NJDC’s condemnation of Mitt Romney. Scroop, Cambridge, and Grey are traitors who have plotted against the King’s life. They do not yet know that Henry V has discovered their treason.

And on his more advice we pardon him.

That is, the King forgives a man who had insulted him while drunk. The three traitors seek to ingratiate themselves with the King by demanding harsh punishment for the soldier, much as the National Jewish Democratic Council has demanded a political “death sentence” for Mitt Romney, John McCain, and Tommy Thompson.

In this case, Mitt Romney, John McCain, and Tommy Thompson committed, at the very worst, minor gaffes. Our position is that Romney and McCain did absolutely nothing wrong, while Thompson’s well-meaning effort to compare “Jewish tradition” to the Protestant work ethic went over the wrong way. We did not find it offensive, but perhaps it could have been phrased differently. Now we have Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and the rest of the Democratic Presidential candidates (except apparently for Krazy Kucinich) consorting with the Black counterpart of the White Aryan Resistance: Al Sharpton’s National Action Network.

When the three traitors are exposed as such before the King, they immediately confess and beg for their lives. Henry V condemns them to death with these words:

The mercy that was quick in us but late,
By your own counsel is suppress’d and kill’d:
You must not dare, for shame, to talk of mercy;
For your own reasons turn into your bosoms,
As dogs upon their masters, worrying you.

The National Jewish Democratic Council has set the standards under which a candidate can be condemned as a racist and/or anti-Semite. Now the entire Democratic Party will have to live with the consequences–unless a Democrat like Joe Lieberman (”Jew Lieberman” to MoveOn.org), someone who has never dirtied his hands through contact with Tom Metzger’s Black clone, steps in to capture the nomination. Noting that Lieberman is the one Democrat who did not just vote to knife our Armed Forces in the back by telling the enemy when he could expect them to leave Iraq, he will also have credibility on the national security issue.
