The National Jewish Democratic Council (double oxymoron, there is nothing about it that any decent Jew or Democrat would acknowledge) just posted, “Criticize Romney for his Behavior, NOT his Religion.” NJDC head Ira Forman, the same individual who whitewashed MoveOn.org’s anti-Semitic hate speech, wrote the following:
When Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney chose to honor Henry Ford with his campaign announcement, NJDC raised an objection. When Romney praised Pat Robertson during his commencement address at Regent University, NJDC posted criticism on our blog, noting some extreme quotes by Robertson.
So tell us, Mr. Forman: when is the NJDC is going to criticize Hillary Clinton and especially Barack Obama for honoring the prominent racist and anti-Semite Al Sharpton by appearing at his National Action Network, with Obama posing arm in arm with him? We remind NJDC that, while Henry Ford has been dead for sixty years and that he retracted his anti-Semitic publications in the bargain, the individual whose rhetoric helped provoke the fatal Crown Heights pogrom and the fatal arson of a Jewish-owned store in Harlem is alive, well, and unrepentent.
