Yes, President Bush’s popularity is awful. But Democrats are not faring any better. For example, they got off to a bad start by reneging on their “first 100 hours” promises. Here are the numbers from the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll:

Job Approval
Bush: 33%
Democrats in Congress: 36%
Republicans in Congress: 32%

Seventy-four percent of poll respondents believe that the “country’s on [the] wrong track.”
