Office Max recently pulled its advertising from the Michael Savage Show in response to the Council on American Islamic Relations’ campaign to destroy the radio show. CAIR posted to the Internet excerpts in which Savage denounces the Koran, “cutting the clitoris off women,” Muslim immigration, and compulsory Islamic garb for women.
Savage’s program is obviously as much showmanship as it is news, and intelligent listeners must separate the wheat from the chaff. Furthermore, we will say up front that Savage should use a selective term like “Islamic supremacists” as opposed to “Muslims” or even “Islamofascists.” Most people understand “Islamofascist” to mean someone who invokes Islam as an excuse to behave like a fascist, but the Left claims that it equates all of Islam with fascism. The Left’s misinterpretation may or may not be intentional, but “Islamic supremacist” removes all doubt and ambiguity.
Islamic supremacists are to decent Muslims what white supremacists are to decent Caucasians. A Muslim’s personal relationship with God involves praying toward Mecca. An Islamic supremacist wants to make the rest of us either pray to Mecca or become dhimmis (second class citizens). A Muslim is a desirable neighbor and a good fellow citizen. An Islamic supremacist wants to overthrow our Constitution and replace it with Sharia, or militant Islamic law. Islamic supremacists desecrate our flag while displaying posters of the White House below an Islamic flag. These individuals are at least morally the domestic enemies of the United States, and only the very narrow Constitutional definition of treason prevents that word from applying as well.
Having said this, CAIR’s problem with Savage is that the wheat includes the absolute truth about Islamic supremacism. Islamic supremacist immigrants in Europe proclaim openly that they are going to take over their surrounding societies, and the United States must therefore be very selective about the Muslim immigrants it welcomes. Female genital mutilation (clitorectomy) is indeed common in many countries under Islamic supremacist rule. Since CAIR apparently stands with Islamic supremacists as opposed to Muslims, it is no surprise that it wants to silence Savage.
The Koran, which Savage denounced in his so-called tirade, does contain anti-Jewish and anti-Christian hate speech. Sura V, “The Table,” says, “O believers! take not the Jews or Christians as friends. They are but one another’s friends. If any one of you taketh them for his friends, he surely is one of them! God will not guide the evil doers!” Civilized Muslims deleted this hateful ideology from their belief system long ago, but Islamic supremacists still practice it word for word.
In Saudi Arabia, a reputed funding source for CAIR, a Christian woman is worth one-quarter of a Muslim male for blood money compensation purposes. This is because Islamic supremacist law defines both women and Christians as only half-human. Islamic supremacists do, as Savage pointed out, want to force women into face-covering garments while stripping them of their civil rights in the bargain.
CAIR: Exploiting Children for Jihad Propaganda? shows exactly where CAIR stands.
CAIR co-founder Omar Ahmad is a former officer in the Islamic Association for Palestine, a terrorist group. CAIR executive director Nihad Awad participated in a Hamas meeting in the United States where plans to derail a peace initiative were discussed.

CAIR’s enablement-through-denial of Islamic supremacy is a disservice not only to the United States but also to millions of decent Muslims. This makes CAIR part of the problem while Michael Savage, warts and all, is part of the solution. We will accordingly buy our office supplies at Staples or Office Depot, and send copies of the receipts with an explanation to Office Max’s corporate headquarters at 263 Shuman Boulevard, Naperville, IL 60563. Also call Office Max at 630-438-7800 (Media relations, corporate headquarters).
We also encourage our readers to call their local Office Max stores and tell their managers why they will no longer be doing business with Office Max. Also send Staples and Office Depot receipts to the local Office Max with an explanation attached. The local store managers, as we discovered, are not allowed to discuss corporate policy, but it is doubtful that they will be happy about their corporation taking an action that could well result in the closing of their stores and the loss of their jobs. We have also made our position clear to Office Max’s (OMX’s) shareholders at the stock’s discussion board at Yahoo.com. What might really be needed is a shareholder resolution to overturn the corporate decision to pander to CAIR. The same goes, incidentally, for Citrix, which also chose to pander to CAIR.

I will spend my last dollar defending Michael Savage. We wait for his instructions to mobilize. It’s an honor to know such an honest man. That’s what it comes down to his loyal audience wants to hear the truth not propaganda of islamic fasists. I was prepared to search out Office Max because even though staples is nearby I felt Office Max was the underdog. Now I know they’re just spineless. Respectfully, Pat Dillard

I don’t listen to Mr Savage; but it seems that in this case he didn’t say anything that wasn’t true.
Shame on Citrix for knuckling under. Might I suggest OpenVPN as a replacement?

Or people could just use Windows VPN plus Remote Desktop Connection, or LogMeIn.com, etc. They have options, I just don’t know how many people are even aware of Citrix’s actions vis-a-vis CAIR’s pressure.
