In his latest book entitled, “The Late Great State of Israel,” Aaron Klein, intrepid investigative journalist and Middle East correspondent presents an ominous portent of the future of Israel. This meticulously researched exegesis of the complex world of Middle East politics graphically depicts the pernicious agenda of those forces conspiring to eradicate the Jewish state. As we know, the motto of the New York Times is, “All the News that’s Fit to Print” and this book is a thoroughly documented repository of “All the News That’s Fit to Print, that the New York Times Wouldn’t,” or any branch of the mainstream media for that matter.

A Rapid and Harsh Turn against Israel

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

by Daniel Pipes*

The much-anticipated meeting between Barack Obama and Binyamin Netanyahu on May 18 went off smoothly, if a bit tensely, as predicted. Everyone was on best behavior and the event excited so little attention that the New York Times reported it on page 12.

Thousands of supporters of Israel, both young and old gathered June 1st in Manhattan to celebrate Israel’s 61st birthday. A sea of blue and white filled fashionable 5th Avenue, as scores of synagogues, Jewish community centers and schools representing New York, New Jersey, Long Island, Connecticut, etc., proudly carried thousands of Israeli flags while paying tribute to the eternal Jewish state. Shouts of “Am Yisroel Chai” (the people of Israel live) echoed through the East Side of Manhattan as marchers paid tribute to the 100th anniversary of the city of Tel Aviv.

Are Judaism and Christianity as Violent as Islam?

Monday, June 8th, 2009

by Raymond Ibrahim*

“There is far more violence in the Bible than in the Qur’an; the idea that Islam imposed itself by the sword is a Western fiction, fabricated during the time of the Crusades when, in fact, it was Western Christians who were fighting brutal holy wars against Islam.”[1] So announces former nun and self-professed “freelance monotheist,” Karen Armstrong. This quote sums up the single most influential argument currently serving to deflect the accusation that Islam is inherently violent and intolerant: All monotheistic religions, proponents of such an argument say, and not just Islam, have their fair share of violent and intolerant scriptures, as well as bloody histories. Thus, whenever Islam’s sacred scriptures — the Qur’an first, followed by the reports on the words and deeds of Muhammad (the Hadith) — are highlighted as demonstrative of the religion’s innate bellicosity, the immediate rejoinder is that other scriptures, specifically those of Judeo-Christianity, are as riddled with violent passages.

Are the sheep-dogs waking up?

Monday, June 8th, 2009

By Thomas Drewing

For awhile, I thought the country was going down the tubes. It is easy to think that if you watch any amount of what is called “news ” these days, but is actually just fear-mongering and pandering to whatever “HUGE DANGER!!!” is currently being peddled by the Lame Stream Media. “Oh my God! It got warm outside today! Quick! Give me all your money, so we can SAVE you!” I now believe that we are waking up.

The other evening, I was out with a friend. We were standing outside having a beer on the patio next to the fire — outside because I smoke. It wasn’t a big fire. In fact, it was too small to give off anything close to enough heat. There was a young guy standing there too, and we fell into conversation about the world. He was obviously sure that his vote for Obama was going to fix everything, and was happy to share his 25-year-old deep political and social wisdom.
