“Allahu Akhbar” or “God is great” is the Arab Muslim clarion call often shouted just before Islamist homicide bombers murder innocents. This is what Major Nidal Malik Hasan shouted out just before he savagely murdered 13 people and wounded at least 16 at Fort Hood. Despite all the warning signs that this brute’s mind was filled with warped, radical Islamist ideology, President Obama has had the audacity to chide Americans with the words, “We don’t know all the answers yet. And I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts.” It is Obama who is jumping to conclusions with veiled accusations of supposed American anti-Muslim sentiment. Major Hasan made this a religious matter with his big fat mouth and guns. Have you looked at the facts, Mr. Obama? Let me help you out. First, from the AP:

… Sen. Joe Lieberman’s call for an investigation came a day after classmates who participated in a 2007-2008 master’s program at a military college said they complained to superiors about Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan and what they considered to be his anti-American views, which included his giving a presentation that justified suicide bombing and telling classmates that Islamic law trumped the U.S. Constitution. …

Another classmate said he complained to five officers and two civilian faculty members at the university. He wrote in a command climate survey sent to Pentagon officials that fear in the military of being seen as politically incorrect prevented an “intellectually honest discussion of Islamic ideology” in the ranks. The classmate also requested anonymity because the investigation is ongoing. …

Major Nidal Malik Hasan worshipped at a mosque led by a radical imam [Anwar al-Awlaki] said to be a “spiritual adviser” to three of the hijackers who attacked America on Sept 11, 2001. …

Charles Allen, a former under-secretary for intelligence at the Department of Homeland Security, has described al-Awlaki, who now lives in Yemen, as an “al-Qaeda supporter, and former spiritual leader to three of the September 11 hijackers… who targets US Muslims with radical online lectures encouraging terrorist attacks from his new home in Yemen”. …

Hasan had, in fact, already come to the attention of the authorities before Thursday’s massacre. He was suspected of being the author of internet postings that compared suicide bombers with soldiers who throw themselves on grenades to save others and had also reportedly been warned about proselytising to patients.

At Fort Hood, he told a colleague, Col Terry Lee, that he believed Muslims should rise up against American “aggressors”. He made no attempt to hide his desire to end his military service early or his mortification at the prospect of deployment to Afghanistan. “He had people telling him on a daily basis the horrors they saw over there,” said his cousin, Nader Hasan. …
