I just can’t stand it: Left-wingers and/or including self-loathing Jews trying to create reasons to scare people away from the TEA Party because it is largely Christian?!?! What total BS. I am a TEA Party member, you foolish leftists. So what if the statements from a Jerusalem Post article entitled, “‘Tea Party’s Christian ties will alienate Jewish voters’,” posted today are true? Last week, a meeting in my hometown to discuss economic ties with Israel drew representatives from 6 Christian groups and no Jews except the two moderators/organizers. Oy, vey. From the JPost:
Members of the surging Tea Party movement, which has already swung several key primary votes its way, are strongly identified with Christian conservatives and see the US as a Christian nation, according to a new survey.
The results suggest that the movement — decentralized and grassroots though it may be — is largely composed of and in line with Republicans rather than representing a new voter pool.
Nearly half of those who consider themselves part of the Tea Party movement (47 percent) also identify as Christian conservatives, as do 57% of Tea Party Christians. …
Oh… the horror! NOT! I’m glad and blessed to live in a majority Christian country. Should I be upset about the House, “Tea Party Caucus members endors[ing] Israeli attack on Iran?:”
Now that the congressional supporters of the Tea Party movement have formed their own caucus, their policy positions are becoming easier to track. Expanding their foray into foreign policy, 21 members of the new caucus have now come out explicitly endorsing Israel’s right to strike Iran’s nuclear program.
Almost two dozen Tea Party-affiliated lawmakers cosponsored a new resolution late last week that expresses their support for Israel “to use all means necessary to confront and eliminate nuclear threats posed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the use of military force.” …
Again, Oh… the horror! NOT! I went to Christian schools. Jesus was a Jew you foolish Stalinists. Most serious Christians study the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. No, I haven’t forgotten the Inquisition, but there was also a Reformation. Times have changed. Move on (with no .org). Embrace America. Don’t loathe the greatest nation on Earth now being defended by grassroots TEA Party members.
