In this analysis, Stotsky has completely missed the obvious, people who hate other people, will hold onto and express that hatred, even violently so long as they can afford to do so.

Given that the billions of dollars the West has showered on the Palestinians over the years had no strings attached, the Palestinians have been free to ignore the wishes of their benefactors and instead have used the monies to hold onto and act upon their Jew hatred.

Cut off the welfare to Palestinians and Palestinians will be forced to make living their top priority because they will no longer have the financial resources to keep their Jew hatred alive.

The “liberals” were busy blaming America for 9/11. The politicians were busy telling me that it was important not to alienate 1.2 billion Muslims. The Bushwhackers were busy telling me that we needed Saudi oil and thus could not afford to upset them by closing their madrassas or marginalizing their propaganda arm — CAIR. Bush is clever they said; he is keeping our friends close and our enemies closer. Here it is over six years later and oil is $140/barrel, the Islamic studies departments and madrassas are in full-swing globally, inundating young Muslims with the Wahhabi bile for Jews and Christians. The Iranian nuclear program has attained near critical mass, unimpeded by an international community which was burned once in Iraq and will not support another war to prevent a Muslim country from obtaining WMD.

And the author of this column is still seeking that ever-elusive moderate Islam. It’s too late to worry about identifying the enemy; they have identified us.
