Danish Cartoon Flash(back): Pope Compared to Hitler

Friday, September 15th, 2006

By Andrew L. Jaffee

“According to Freud, projection is when someone is threatened by or afraid of their own impulses so they attribute these impulses to someone else.” Some Muslims are doing it again: Reacting ferociously when someone points out that there’s nothing holy about holy war (jihad). Because the Pope used jihad as an example of religion gone awry, he is being compared to Hitler by Turkish and other Islamists. Which just proves that any revelation that current-day Islam has a problem with violence hits too close to home among many Muslims, and will draw a violent response. Think about it: A violent response from those who are angry because they were accused of being violent. Remind you of anything in particular? The Danish cartoon controversy, where Muslims burned, pillaged, and killed because of a newspaper caricature of Mohammed?

MoveOn.org lied about removing anti-Semitic slurs

“jews have a long history of subverting governments for their own enrichment” and the Return of Jew(ish) Lieberman
by Bill Levinson

In case anyone is still inclined to believe the line of taqqiya that MoveOn.org’s Eli Pariser fed to the Anti-Defamation League’s Abe Foxman (and that Foxman seems to have swallowed whole), here is incontrovertible proof that MoveOn.org lied. “MoveOn.org lied” is, however, almost a redundant statement.

Novemeber Elections: Bush Poll Numbers Up

Thursday, September 14th, 2006

By Andrew L. Jaffee

Who will control the House and Senate after the November elections? Things have been looking grim for the Republicans, mainly because of President Bush’s Iraq war coat tails, and a string of scandals. But Democrats aren’t looking too good either, with the recent MoveOn.org Action Forum’s problem with racial slurs, and the party trying to censor ABC’s “The Path To 9/11,” which exposed the Clinton legacy — 8 years of thinking about, but not doing anything about, terror. Perhaps Bush’s use of the bully pulpit is helping, too. His poll numbers are up. While not completely sanguine with the Republicans, I’m still in their camp — for now — as I, and probably many other Americans, feel that a vote for the Democratic Party is a vote for the eventual slitting of my throat by Islamists. From the Wall Street Journal:

President Bush’s efforts to explain and win support for his policies on Iraq and terrorism appear to be paying some initial dividends as midterm congressional campaigns heat up.

A new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll shows that Mr. Bush’s overall approval rating, as well as his marks on handling Iraq, rose modestly after a series of speeches imploring Americans to remain patient despite repeated setbacks in Iraq. Voters also expressed slightly increased willingness to maintain U.S. troop strength there as commanders struggle to tamp down a continued insurgency and sectarian violence.

EU on PA Funding: All Talk

Wednesday, September 13th, 2006

By Andrew L. Jaffee

The agreement between Hamas and Fatah, both terrorist groups, has nothing to do with bringing peace with Israel, not even Palestinian “unity,” but is a diplomatic machination aimed at opening the money pumps back into the West Bank and Gaza. Initial reaction from the EU has been cool, and we can only hope it will stay that way. While Fatah is often termed “mainstream,” they are just a bunch of corrupt thugs — the legacy of Yasser Arafat. So they’ll embrace another terrorist group? And there are strings attached to the EU’s coolness, something that should be unacceptable to Israel. From the Jerusalem Post:

The Hamas-Fatah agreement to form a national unity government is not enough for the Europeans to begin channeling money back into the Palestinian Authority, a senior European diplomat told The Jerusalem Post Wednesday, a day before the EU’s foreign ministers are to meet in Brussels to discuss the issue.

The diplomat also called on Israel to unilaterally release a large number of Palestinian prisoners to “improve the overall atmosphere” and possibly strengthen the position of the moderates inside the PA.

“Possibly strengthen the position of the moderates inside the PA?” Are there “moderates?” Any “unilateral” moves by Israel will be seen as weakness by the Palestinians, and the piranhas will certainly react with another frenzy of violence.

Did MoveOn.org lie to the ADL about anti-Semitic material?

“Judeo-Nazis” and “Jew-y Jews” on MoveOn.org’s Action Forum
by Bill Levinson

In response to Abraham Foxman’s complaint regarding anti-Semitic slurs at MoveOn.org’s Action Forum, MoveOn’s Eli Pariser disclaimed responsibility for the slurs and said that they were taken offline as soon as they were discovered. Perhaps some were taken down as a token gesture but many are online as of today: eleven days after Pariser said they were being removed.

Until Fatah and Hamas charters end call for Israel’s destruction, Canada must deny funding to Palestinian Authority

Wednesday, September 13th, 2006

by Canadian Coalition for Democracies

Toronto, Canada, Tuesday, September 12, 2006 - Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas PM Ismail Haniyeh announced an agreement yesterday to form a Palestinian unity government. The article in Al-Hayat Al-Jadida makes it clear that the reason for this arrangement is the “resumption of [Western] aid”.

“Western aid was stopped with the election of Hamas, because Hamas refused to renounce violence and recognize the state of Israel,” said Alastair Gordon, president of the Canadian Coalition for Democracies. “To this day, the charters of both Fatah (PLO) and Hamas both call for the destruction of Israel through violence.”

“Talmud a hateful scripture”
by Bill Levinson

10 out of 13 MoveOn Action Forum members agree, “Zionists have committed more massacres per capita than any other people on earth since Adam and Eve. In fact, one can safely say that wanton killings and massacres are piece and parcel of being Zionist.” These are the same people who want you to vote for Ned Lamont over “Jew Lieberman” as they call him.

A culturally sensitive redefinition of terrorism

Wednesday, September 13th, 2006

By Andrew L. Jaffee

The Nonaligned Movement, once dominated by communist/socialist countries, has now added Islamists to its ranks. So we have a group of dictators with atrocious human rights records; and who actively train, provide safe haven to, and/or provide weapons and money to terrorist groups; telling us that we should not label them as terrorists; or at least not as terrorism enablers. My, how convenient. They want the West, especially Israel and the U.S., to be culturally sensitive to their ultra-violence. From the AP:

Preventing a Repeat of 9-11 from a Muslim Perspective

Tuesday, September 12th, 2006

By Kamal Nawash

In remembrance of the Fifth anniversary of 9-11, www.counterideology.com has produced an anti-terror TV commercial for the Free Muslims Coalition (FMC). This commercial is based on the belief that the war on terror is an ideological battle and good Muslims are essential to winning this battle.

In addition to fighting terrorism from an Islamic perspective, FMC has produced numerous studies on the causes of extremism by Muslims. On this painful anniversary we feel it appropriate to restate the root cause of extremism and terrorism.

Extremism among Muslims is the result of a recent man-made political ideology that has been successfully marketed as a fundamental tenet of Islam. This man-made political ideology is called “Political Islam”. Political Islam is an ideology that totally rejects the separation of religion and state and instead seeks to create theocratic “Islamic States” or one large “Islamic state” based on the delusion that Muslims are not sufficiently religious and that if they were to return to a strict interpretation of God’s “laws”, the Muslim world would achieve a period of glory and prosperity as they enjoyed in the early days of Islamic history.

On 9/11: Terrorism is Alive and Well

Tuesday, September 12th, 2006

By Fern Sidman

As the world stops to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, it appears that the war on terror has only just begun.

According to a JTA news release of 9/11/06, it would appear that Al Qaida is still planning attacks on the USA. The report states that “On the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, Al-Qaida urged Muslims to attack Israel. In a statement aired Monday by CNN, Ayman al-Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden’s deputy, warned the West that it would suffer further attacks by Islamic terrorists. “You gave us every legitimacy and every opportunity to continue fighting you,” he said. “You should worry about your presence in the Gulf, and the second place you should worry about is Israel.”

Nike and 9/11

Tuesday, September 12th, 2006

Five years after the attacks of September 11, 2001, it is clear how terrorism has set back the cause of radical Islam.

The horrors of 9/11 alarmed Americans and fouled the quiet but deadly efforts of lawful Islamists working to subvert the country from within. They no longer can replicate their pre-9/11 successes. This fits an ironic pattern whereby terrorism usually (but not always) obstructs the advance of radical Islam. For an illustration of this change, consider an example from radical Islam’s halcyon days in the late 1990s — how a prominent Islamist organization, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, easily humiliated the giant manufacturer of athletic gear, Nike, Inc.

CAIR: Apologizing for Another Muslim Terrorist

Monday, September 11th, 2006

by Andrew Whitehead

On Friday, September 8, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) posted an article on its web site titled, “CAIR: IN U.S. VISIT, IRAN’S KHATAMI URGES DIALOGUE”.

The article states that former Iranian President Khatami has called for a “dialogue of civilizations” among Jews, Christians, and Muslims while scolding the Bush administration for its treatment of detainees and other alleged human rights abuses.

CAIR spokesman, Ibrahim Hooper, apparently agreed that there is a need for dialogue,

The Path To 9/11: Thank You, ABC

Monday, September 11th, 2006

By Andrew L. Jaffee

Despite attempts by Democrats to stifle free and open discourse, “The Path To 9/11″ aired last night, and will again tonight. Instead of succumbing to threats from Democratic senators and President Clinton, ABC allowed Americans to make up their own minds about 9/11. Some Democrats feel that the mini-series unfairly blamed the Clinton administration for allowing Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda to fester unchecked. But the shrill tone of Democratic objections to the docudrama belies Freudian under-currents of very real fear that Americans might know the truth: The Clinton administration was too distracted to take action against al-Qaeda — too worried about the Monica Lewinsky scandal, too preoccupied with political minutiae, and too busy forcing Israel into an untenable peace accord with Yasir Arafat to secure Bill’s place in history. Would anyone dispute the fact the Clinton officials were keeping close tabs on Osama? Clinton had 8 years to deal with Islamism; Bush had 8 months. That being said, there’s plenty of non-partisan blame to spread around.

Both Republican and Democratic politicians have failed their constituencies when fighting Islamic terrorists (we are not at war with terrorism, a tactic, but with a group of people). Perhaps most Americans were too distracted — 20/20 hindsight is easy, but not worth a dime.

George Bush as bad as Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden
by Bill Levinson

This MoveOn.org Action Forum posting, which had to pass review by a MoveOn.org moderator, says that the United States’ “robber baron families” provoked a vicious terrorist attack that involved slitting female flight attendants’ throats while chanting to Allah, hijacking airplanes full of innocent people, and crashing them into buildings full of innocent people.

The Soros-Occupied Government (SOG)
