Punch the bitch in the eye/then the ho will fall to the ground
Then you open up her mouth/put your dick, move the shit around.
- Niggaz With Attitude, “She Swallowed It”
The above-referenced song recommended “specific procedures for attacking a fourteen-year-old,” and is just a small sampling of the violent and misogynist lyrics prevalent in rap music. Al Sharpton went after Don Imus for calling members of the Rutgers women’s basketball team “nappy-headed hos.” Strangely, Sharpton seems to have no quarrel with African-American rap artists labelling women as “bitches” and “hos” — or worse. But Today show hostess Meredith Vieira yesterday forced Shapton to try to explain his contradictory sentiments: [Continues below…]

When I asked Google Maps to “Get directions” from New York to London, step #23 advised me to “Swim across the Atlantic Ocean 3,462 mi,” get out of the water on the shores of northern France, drive 200 miles up the coast, and then cross the Channel to the UK. The map even shows me which pier I should jump off into the Atlantic to start my epic Leif Ericsson quest.

Are Islam and democracy compatible? A large literature has developed arguing that Islam has all the ingredients of modern state and society. Many Muslim intellectuals seek to prove that Islam enshrines democratic values. But rather than lead the debate, they often follow it, peppering their own analyses with references to Western scholars who, casting aside traditional Orientalism for the theories of the late literary theorist and polemicist Edward Said, twist evidence to fit their theories. Why such efforts? For Western scholars, the answer lies both in politics and the often lucrative desire to please a wider Middle East audience. For Islamists, though, the motivation is to remove suspicion about the nature and goals of Islamic movements such as the Muslim Brotherhood and, perhaps, even Hezbollah.

There was a time in Hollywood when a movie character was cast to hail from Ohio — to make the person seem innocent, a green-horn, if you will. There was a time in reality, not Hollywood, when Middle America was innocent — safe at least from Islamo-fascism. Well, you’re not in Kansas Ohio anymore, dear Dorothy. From the AP:
COLUMBUS, Ohio - A federal grand jury indicted a U.S. citizen on charges of joining al-Qaida and conspiring to bomb European tourist resorts and U.S. government facilities and military bases overseas.
Christopher Paul, 43, of Columbus, trained with al-Qaida in the early 1990s, the indictment issued Wednesday says. The indictment says he told al-Qaida members in Pakistan and Afghanistan that he was dedicated to committing violent jihad.
Paul is charged with providing material support to terrorists, conspiracy to provide support to terrorists and conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction. …

“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”
- George Orwell, Animal Farm
Referring to the Rutgers women’s basketball team, Don Imus said, “That’s some nappy-headed hos there, I’m going to tell you that.” Imus should be canned, plain and simple, and unequivocally. There’s no excuse or apology for this kind of bigotry. But it may surprise you to find that Imus is in “good” company with high-profile members and/or affiliates of the Democratic Party, who supposedly stand against all forms of racism.

Leave it to the New York Times to sanitize another Islamist atrocity: “Islamists Bring Fight to Capital of Algeria.” Sounds innocuous, huh? “Fight” meaning some purposeful struggle? Algeria’s Islamists were responsible for the deaths of 200,000 people during the 1990s. Today’s vicious attacks by al-Qaeda-backed fascists killed at least 30 and wounded 162. The Islamist “fight” is for the creation of a world-wide, totalitarian Islamic caliphate and societal regression into the Stone Age.

So Islamists can murder on a massive scale, but we can’t have Easter buns? Lordy, we’re forcing our own soldiers to handle Korans with gloves — for the sake of terrorist prisoners, no less… Which proves that Islamic terrorism works, terrifying the West into submission. Pathetic and cowardly. From Thisisdorset (hat-tip to Patrick):
POOLE Hospital refused to serve hot cross buns to patients on Good Friday amid fears the cakes might offend religious minorities.
That is the claim from angry kitchen staff who contacted the Daily Echo to reveal how they had been inundated with calls from nurses saying how disappointed patients did not receive the traditional Easter treat. [Continued below…]

In condemning radio show host Don Imus’ use of the term “nappy headed hos” to describe African-American basketball players, Al Sharpton said, “What is any possible reason you could feel that this type of statement should be forgiven and overlooked?” Sharpton also said that Imus’ show should be terminated from CBS and MSNBC. These are indeed questions that should be asked about Sharpton himself, and the Al Sharpton Show. Al Sharpton has as much right to talk about racial and ethnic tolerance as former Klan leader David Duke.

So goes the Islamist fight for oppression in Iraq:
…A Katyusha rocket hit a basketball court at a boys school in eastern Baghdad, killing a 6-year-old boy and wounding 17 others — 15 students and two teachers…

This is life in modern day Iran — or is that the 7 th century? Ushering in the next Holocaust… One step closer to Armageddon… From the Beeb:
Iran can now produce nuclear fuel on an industrial scale, President Ahmadinejad has announced, in a move likely to further strain tensions with the West. …
Mr Ahmadinejad’s speech came as Iran celebrated nuclear technology day.
Of course, “nuclear technology day” is a natural follow-up to Iran’s wipe-Israel-off-the-map, hate-fest, Holocaust denial, “World Without Zionism” conference.

No tears for Malaysian women’s reproductive rights — let alone their right to religious and cultural freedoms? How would the West’s multiculturalists react to this?
Islamic authorities took away the baby of a Muslim woman who is living as a Hindu in defiance of the law in the latest case of religious conflict straining ties in multiethnic Malaysia, officials said Friday.
Revathi Masoosai’s 15-month-old daughter was taken by the Islamic Religious Department in southern Malacca state on March 26 and handed to Revathi’s Muslim mother, said department enforcement officer Mohamad Imran Ahmad.
“The baby’s grandmother has custody of her for now,” Mohamad Imran told The Associated Press.
Revathi, an ethnic Indian, is being held in a rehabilitation center run by Islamic authorities for her religious transgression. The baby was with Revathi’s husband when she was seized. He has filed a police complaint, but it was not clear if he plans to take the case to court. …

“Palestine” continues on its Alice-in-Wonderland course: 1) Gaza “militants” have kidnapped an Israeli Arab. 2) President Abbas complains about his own people shooting missiles at Israeli civilians, but does nothing about it. 3) Hamas, a “legitimate” government, openly holds hostages, and hopes to use them against a sovereign nation (in good company with Iran).
From Ynetnews:
Jihad Ziara, a 46-year-old from Jaffa was kidnapped Saturday evening by gunmen in the Gaza Strip. Ziara, who is originally from Gaza and has lived in Israel for several years, entered the strip on Friday for a family visit. …
Ziara is also married to an Israeli wife.
From the AFP:
A Palestinian rocket hit a building in the southern Israeli border town of Sderot later on Saturday, damaging it but causing no casualties, in an attack claimed by Islamic Jihad.
Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas again appealed for rocket attacks to stop, calling them absurd.
From Ynetnews:
Palestinian PM Haniyeh’s spokesman says prisoner swap deal has ‘advanced considerably’; source close to kidnappers says Israel must release ’serious’ prisoners in first phase of an exchange

Editor’s note: This article is insightful, given today’s “Amnesty Now” protests (demands) in LA.
When the Democrats won in November, there was a sense that an illegal-alien amnesty and huge increases in future immigration were inevitable. Even Rep. Tom Tancredo, the uber-hawk on immigration, was taken in: “We will fight it, we will lose,” he told the Washington Times. “It will go to the Senate, it will pass. The president will sign it. And it will happen quickly because that’s one thing they know they can pass.”

Although its glory days may be past, Egypt remains an important player in regional politics. With almost eighty million people, it has by far the largest Arab population. While there may be twenty-two members of the Arab League, one in three Arabs is Egyptian. And although Islamists question the legitimacy of many Arab states formed in the wake of World War I, Egypt has a recognized legacy going back millennia. Because Egypt is one of only three Arab states to have full diplomatic relations with Israel, it retains an elevated position as a diplomatic intermediary. Despite its importance, though, recent literature on Egypt is scarce.

The opponent is often the best teacher, and A Jewish Voice for Peace’s Muzzlewatch site provided a way in which pro-Israel activists can cause horrific damage to the International Solidarity Movement with the play, “My Name is Rachel Corrie.” All one has to do is buy an ad in the play program (for perhaps $50 to $500) that shows evidence that the International Solidarity Movement and/or its Palestinian handlers probably set the peace activist up to be killed to make propaganda, with links to Internet sites such as StopTheISM that have even more details.
Noting that the other side is doubtlessly spending thousands of dollars to produce and publicize “My Name is Rachel Corrie,” the “force multiplier” of using the play’s own program to devastate the International Solidarity Movement is easy to appreciate.
