where we don't need Lieberman, I hope they will kick him to the curb like the dog he is.

Weasel seems about right to describe him--if you're kind enough to afford him vertebrate status.

Lieberman by comparison is not. So he is no dog.

Ghouliani hates weasels. I'm sure he loves Lieberman. Ergo- Lieberman cannot be a weasel. :D

Given a choice between my dog and Lieberman, I'd gas him without thinking twice.

use animal references to derogate people with. Animals are not deserving of these kinds of insults!

I know you didn't mean it that way, but a reference to gassing a Jew needs to be hidden. I hope you will join me in asking that this comment be hidden and that there will not be a pile on. I will find some other comments of yours and uprate to make up for this.

You're being a bit hypersensitive and PC here. Dogs get gassed at animal shelters every day. I can name a bunch of other politicians I'd gas over my dog.
by Sharon Jumper on Mon May 14, 2007 at 04:48:04 PM PDT
You just pulled a major boner. Sorry you don't have the sensitivity to see that.

I doubt that Sharon thought about the full implications of her comment before posting, but to stand by it AFTER having the insensitivity of the remark pointed out by another commenter--that seems wrong to me.
I'm not a fan of Lieberman, but this was an inappropriate comment.

do they. I thought there was a real concerted effort to get rid of the gas chambers and animals get lethal injections now, don't they?
I have a book written by a shelter owner from St. Louis who has the most beautiful animal who survived the gas chamber and they traveled the country lobbying for the replacement of the gas chambers.

need 60 votes in the senate to end debate ... we'd really like joe to not be the petulant one when it comes to getting up or down votes in that chamber in 2009 ...
kinda sad ... part of me knows that if we've gotta work with some GoOPers, that it's folk like Collins (and Snowe) who offer the best prospects going forward ... but the dynamics of electoral politics dictate that these are the folks most likely to be voted out of office
only a putz like Lieberman can create this kind of dynamic, where a guy who's otherwise solid on progressive issues, because of a devotion to the neocon foreign policy agenda (for whatever reason) will sell out any chance of a liberal/progressive future
Lakoff is right ... Lieberman is perfect proof that there's no such thing as centrism or moderate political thought ... just two different concepts applied to different areas (i.e., biconceptualism)
it's about biconceptualism ... Obama08

Dispicable as he was, I don't believe Ted bundy was a cannibal. He was a charming, handsome, Republican rapist and murderer.
